SHORT TERM EMERGENCY SHELTER:
Temporary residential site which is provided until the individual can
receive assistance to secure long term housing. (There is no cost for
this service for the first 30 days.)
PEER COUNSELING: Face-to-face individual or group counseling conducted
by trained individuals who have experienced similar problems; may be
held in group setting and/or individual setting, based on the individual’s
needs.
PRE-VOCATIONAL SERVICES: Services that focus on development of general
work behavior. The purpose of pre-vocational services is to utilize
individual and group work-related activities to: assist individuals
or develop positive work attitudes, personal characteristics, and job
skills including resume building and interview ethics.
SOCIALIZATION: Working side-by-side with the client to instruct them
in areas of activities of daily living, social/recreation, and leisure
activities with an emphasis on counseling involving inter-personal skills.
May include spiritual and faith-based support services; these services
assist an individual or group to develop spiritually; activities that
are inspirational and motivational in nature.
SPIRITUAL AND/OR FAITH BASED SUPPORT (INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP):
A face-to-face group or individual service provided by qualified staff
to assist participants to develop Spiritually we aimed at helping clients
to establish or re-establish a relationship with Jesus Christ adopting
positive values or principles, identify a sense of purpose and mission
for one’s life, and achieve serenity and peace of mind.
Activities may incorporate prayer, music, Pastoral counseling specialized
seminars or other Christian teachings.
Every individual will be required to attend Monday night Faith-based
fellowship group.
